Empties #1 ( Featuring: L'Oreal, LUSH, Aussie, Wella, St Moriz.)

Hey guys! Today I'm doing my first ever 'Empties' post. I really love these posts as it shows a mixture of good and bad reviews. And I think that it is just as beneficial to know about products that are a waste as it is to know about the products that are worth your money. So before any more rambling, let's get started!

***

The first  product I've used up is the L'Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray in 'Supreme Hold'. I'm not going to talk about this product too much as there already so much hype about this on the internet. However, I will say that it is one of the better hairsprays out there. It holds your hair in place without making your hair feel crunchy. I'll probably be re-purchasing this one for a while to come!!

Next up is the Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave-In Conditioner. This stuff is a life saver when your hair is a tangled mess (which for me, is daily!). No matter how knotted my hair would get, this stuff would transform my head from a matted mess to a sleek and soft mane. It smells amazing too. However, due to the amount of silicones in this product, I have been holding off on re-purchasing it. I feel like if I continue to use this product as often as I did , then my hair would end up being greasy instead of nourished. So for that reason I'm not going to be buying it again at the moment!

Sticking with hair products, the next empty is the Wella Shockwaves Mousse in Curls and Waves. This technically isn't empty but I'll definitely  be throwing this can away ASAP!  After using this product for a while, all the gas somehow escaped from the can. So now the product can't foam into a whipped cream texture and it comes out as a watery substance. This made my hair sticky, clumpy and generally highly unattractive!  However, when it did do it's purpose, it did so very well! So although I didn't get to finish the product, I'll probably be re-purchasing it.

Moving onto skincare, my next empty is LUSH's Herbalism Fresh Facial Cleanser. It claims to 'help with spots, grease and calm troubled skin' and I 100% agree! I used this day and night whenever I had a break-out for a few days and my spots would appear less red, smaller and would eventually disappear. The cleanser would also help with oil control (as it claims) and my skin would appear brighter due to the exfoliation action of the cleanser's gritty texture. Since this God-send has run out I've been fairly lost without it! ( I'm think you can gather that I'll be re-purchasing this!)

My next empty is another LUSH  product ( I love LUSH, just saying!). It's LUSH's Mask of Magnaminty Face  Mask. This mask is made for acne-prone skin. I use this roughly about once every 2 weeks ( sometimes more often, depending on my skin) to rid my face of those pesky spots! I apply a thick layer of this on my face and leave it on for about 10 minutes. Then I gently scrub it off with warm water. Although I do think this is a good product and it does do what it claims, if push came to shove, I'd have to pick Herbalism over this, just because I think that's AMAZING! So all in all, I'll probably buy this again some time, but I wouldn't run into town just to pick a pot of this up!

My last last empty is again, not actually empty. In fact it's a quite full bottle of St.Moriz Self-Tanning Mist. After I had bought this ( in Penneys), I brought it home to use it as I was going out that night. And as I was starting to apply the tan, the spray nozzle almost instantaneously snapped off. As you can imagine, I wasn't best pleased with my zebra-esque tan! I'm most definitely not going to buy this again. Like really, can you get any worst packaging?! (-Rant Over-!!)

So that's it for my first 'Empties' post! Have you loved / hated any of these products? Or do you have any fake tan horror stories?! Leave your answers and opinions in the comments below!!
Until next time!
