My Current Favourites.

Hey guys! Ok, let's just address the elephant in the room. How long has it been since the last post , Laura? 5 WEEKS?! *bows head in shame* Going back to school messed up my little plan more than I thought it would, ok? I do apologise  though and I hope I can get back to blogging more regularly soon (hope being the operative word here!)

Anyways, today's post was supposed to be a Summer Favourites, but since we are now in the middle of September , I guess that's not really appropriate!  Let's just say it's a Current Favourites with a distinct summer theme!

First off, is my absolute Summer saviour for serious sunburns, Aloe Vera gel. I know, shame on me for staying out in the sun for too long, but I've truly learned my lesson! Aloe Vera Gel is renowned for it's cooling properties and by God, does it work! I was slathering this on all over every few hours and instantly I felt my skin cooling. It also prevented my skin from peeling too much and my burn turned a nice tan after a while! (Not worth it though!) ( As a side note, I couldn't for the life of me, find where the bottle of it is gone, so hence the lack of it's presence in the photo)

Next, is my KIKO Eye Lash Curlers. I have the straightest, shortest, eyelashes you have ever seen. No exaggeration! Therefore, eye lash curlers are a must-have beauty tool for me. So,you can probably imagine the heart palpitations when I accidentally trodded on my last pair!  And when I went out to find a replacement, suddenly nowhere stocked them! Penneys were all gone and the Boots ones don't fit right. It was an emergency!! Anyways, I found these ones from KIKO when I was in Spain and they're perfect! The fit right and the do their job and the are just fab! (You probably can't tell, but I'm really excited about them!)

Another purchase from holidaying in Spain was this necklace from H&M. It literally goes with  everything! I really like it because it's a statement without being in your face or over-taking an outfit. It's the perfect balance! The best part though, is that it was only €2!

An another summer-y favourite is the Dove Summer Glow. This stuff is just perfect for those of who just really couldn't give a damn about moisturising (I know I should, but no amount of sweet smelling sticky body butters could persuade me to routinely moisturise those grubby legs!) It gives a surprisingly natural glow to the skin (which sometime fools me into thinking I'm a golden Goddess!) and make your skin super soft at the same time!

Keeping with the fake tan theme, my next favourite is Johnson's Baby Wipes! I always keep this with me when I'm doing my fake tan, because to be fair , I mess up more often then I get it right!! When I'm using an instant tan, I'm forever leaving splodges of fake tan all over me! These wipes are always saving me from looking like and polka dotted umpa lumpa! It dosen't matter whether the fake tan has dried or not, these can just wipe it off and you can touch up!!

My next favourite is less on the summer side and they are my new Vans! I recently picked them up from Schuh and I have been living in them ever since! They are so versatile and you can dress them up or down, pair them with jeans or dresses, they are just fab! Will definitely be picking up some in different colours soon!!

Next up is the No.7 Gel-Look Shine Nail Polish! I mentioned these in a wishlist, and they are everything I wanted them to be!!  The last the guts of a week without chipping and the colour is so vibrant too! Perfect for those who would rather turn their heads to their chipped nails than to take off and re-do their nail polish!!

Last but not least is the Clean Master App for Androids. This app has single-handedly transformed my  phone! Before, my phone was forever force closing pre-installed apps, not saving photos, I couldn't download any apps, turning off if I used it for too long, basically, a pain in the neck! I downloaded this from Google Play (don't ask me how my phone actually managed that, but thankfully it did), not expecting it to do much, but my Lord! It has made such a difference! It told me how to fix the phone, and if it was lagging it would resolve it, it can cool down the phone, everything. It is exactly what my phone needed! Now I can do mad things like, what's that thing called? Ah yes, Instagram!

That's all for today's post guys!! I really do hope I can post more often but school has brought on a huge amount of stress (more than I had expected!). Once I find a routine for studying/blogging, 'll promise I'll post regularly! (New school year's resolutions here!!) Until next time, ciao!
