Empties #3

I haven't done an Empties post in a while, but everything seemed to be used up at the same( which I hate, because on day all is fine, and the next it's like wandering through a post apocalyptic world.... kind of!)
So here is what I used up during the past few weeks!

First up, is the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo (+). I mentioned this in a wishlist during the summer because I was dying to get it since literally everyone was raving about it, saying that it worked wonders on their skin. Being honest, it was a bit anti-climactic. Frankly, it didn't do a whole lot. It possibly keep a few spots at bay and maybe decreased redness of some scars, but alas, I'm still getting spots and I have many a scar to contend with! Needless to say,  I won't be in any rush to buy this again!

Staying with skincare, my next two empties are both from Simple. The Refreshing Facial Gel and the Hydrating Light Moisturiser. I mentioned this in my previous skincare post so obviously they're good uns! I usually pick these up in Penneys as they come in a set for €3 (!!!) but they weren't there the ast time I popped into Penneys, and quite frankly, I'm devastated!

Next up is these Nip+Fab Body Butters. These were in a Christmas set, for last year. And yes, I have only finished them now because I'm the worst at moisturising my body *head droops in shame*. They were a thick consistency and took a while to sink in (one of those that you cannot put on in the morning, I've learned from past experiences!) I'm pretty fickle when it comes to body butters/lotions, and I wasn't a big fan of the scents either, so I won't be picking this up again!

The only hair product in this bunch is the Batiste XXL Volume Dry Shampoo. This was an utter disappointment for me. I bought this more for the volume aspect than the actual dry shampoo side of things. Don't get me wrong, it did give amazing umph to my hair but it made me head itch like crazy! It also left a really awful sticky residue on my hair, so I would have to wash it out the next day. Therefore, I definitely won't be buying this again. I'm very interested in the Colab Dry Shampoos though...

Moving on to make up, I recently finished up the Maybelline The Falsies Mascara. Even though I'm currently using Benefit They're Real mascara, I will always go back to this. For the price, it makes my lashes just as good as the Benefit one. Will without a doubt be going back to this one!

Next on the make up side of things, is the Essence lash and brow gel. I didn't really think that this made much of a difference while I was using it but now that it is finished, well, I'm suffering! My brow have become an unruly mess without this. However, I'm trying to get my hands on the Rimmel Brow Gel to see how they compare.

Lastly, is the Collection Extreme Felt Tip Eyeliner. It was a really basic product, it lasted a fair enough amount of time, wasn't really difficult to apply, but there was nothing special about it either. Since it's been finished I have return to my first eyeliner love, the Essence Liquid Ink. Oh, I should never have strayed!

That's all that I have used up recently, Hope you enjoyed and let me know it you have used any of these!
