My Makeup Bag

Hey guys! This week's post is a peep into my makeup, at it's most basic, stripped back state. It contains everything that I need to do a full face of makeup but without the frills. Admittedly, your options are somewhat limited, but I but this makeup collection to the test when I went to France recently and I didn't feel like I was missing  much at all.

So starting off with the base, my foundation is the L'Oreal Infallible foundation. It's a semi- matte foundation which lasts a pretty decent amount of time (but don't be fooled by "24 hour wear"), an essential for the summer months.

For setting the foundation, I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. A great powder for the price, but it's packaging leaves a lot to be desired. Note to self: Do not carelessly throw this into your hand bag. Ever.

For concealer. this one wont come as any surprise. I use the one and only Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer to hide my dark circles and cover my spots.

My blush, contour shade and highlight are all rolled into one in this handy dandy palette from Sleek. All the shades are beautiful and very summer-appropriate.

For my lips, I carry the Kiko Frosted Look Lipstick in 02. It's a really moisturising formula and the colour is pigmented and buildable.

For my eyes, I of course have my beloved and truly beat-up Sleek iDivine palette in Au Natural. This palette can go from total natural to a full smoky eye and everythink in between. No matter what look I'm going for, or what products I use, this palette will be used at least once. Definitely a holy grail item for me!

The eyeliner that I have in my makeup case is from Kiko and it is the Smart Eye Pencil in 800. It is a rose gold toned eyeliner which can really add to any look and it also brightens the eye too.

As always, I use the Essence Eyebrow stylist to fill in my eyebrows. I have been using this stuff for years and for price, it is an amazing product which lasts all day.

Of course no makeup bag would be complete without mascara. The one I use is the Benefit They're Real. Given that I was blessed with short stumpy eyelashes, eyelash curlers are a must and the one I have is from Kiko.

So that's all for this week! Hope you enjoyed the post and let me know what's in your makeup bag!
